Aires have some great new correction sets for imminent release

Aires have continually given us new and improved detail sets to rectify some of the issues with our favourite kits – February sees us with more information on new Aires correction sets  in all three major aircraft scales (sorry 1/144th guys) – one especially here is dear to my heart…

And here they are in scale order...
In 1/72 scale:

This Zero/Zero Ejector seat is the much improved Ejector seat for any of the current releases as all currently on the market need a lot of extra work to bring to this kind of standard

In 1/48 scale:

The new Italeri kits main area of consternation with modellers has been the cockpit – this is a detailed replacement for it.

The older Revell/Monogram kit could well do with this because as you can see the wheel wells of these are quite complex in real life

Joy of joys! This is a great engine and cowling replacement which addresses the poor fit and shape of the Hasegawa P-47 cowling and the so-so engine. It also extends down the aircraft’s cowling to show the fuel tank and inner workings just like the Trumpeter kit did.

The replacement ejector for the A-7 kit is a welcome replacement for the Trumpeter corsairs which had only just “OK” detail before this set.

I have this kit and there is no comparison to this new addition. This will detail the office of your Harrier II -  now all we need is a new nose and intakes and we are set!

All of these sets are available by the end of the month on the Aires website.
