Diego Fortes has been for a long time as a well-known sculptor for commissions and collectors who are lucky enough to have their hands on one of his creations – well now he has his own Artisan project – selling very limited amounts of figures of the lucky few enough to be quick to pick them up – it is called Miniatures Fortes

Usually Diego F. Fortes’ figures were made for collectors or as one off pieces for manufacturers, and Now Diego has gone into a small scale business for himself – called “Miniatures Fortes”

The resin figure of a “Waffen SS officer in Normandy, 1944” – the parts

This company will follow Diego’s tastes as a model maker and will usually be in 1/24^th scale. Diego’s first figure starts off well – it is German, WWII and SS – well that makes a guaranteed seller- but he only has 50 made so they should go like hotcakes!

The figure unpainted -

Diego’s intention is to make short runs of my figures, working as an artisan he will control the whole project - sculpting the original, the castings, and the box art and taking the pictures for the box art.

The first figure - A resin figure of a “Waffen SS officer in Normandy,1944” will be limited to only fifty numbered copies and no more. These copies will be sold through Ebay and only for final costumers. No shops or distributors for this figure - it will go straight to the customers with no middle men.
