Introduced in 1988, the Kawasaki T-4 is a subsonic trainer that replaced Japan's aging fleet of Lockheed® T-33s and Fuji® T-1s. Kawasaki produced over two-hundred T-4s for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force in all. The JASDF's Blue Impulse aerobatic demonstration team transitioned to the T-4 in 1995. Today, the squadron has eleven T-4s in its fleet. This limited edition kit combo features two 1/72 scale Kawasaki T-4 models with one marking option representing the Blue Impulse squadron.

1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon "Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary" Limited Edition
Stock Number: HSGS2173
Mfg. Number: 02173
Pieces: 195
Age: 14+

Either side would have loved to have the Eurofighter Typhoon in 1940. For the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, the Royal Air Force 29th squadron decorated their Typhoon with a Spitfire camouflage scheme. The irony, of course, being that the Eurofighter is cooperatively constructed by Britain and Germany as well as Spain and Italy. Painting the Typhoon in the Spitfire's Battle of Britain colours is both an homage to history and a prime example of how far European cooperation has developed in the last 75 years. Kit features special markings.

Decal Option:
Royal AF No.29 Squadron "Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary" Special Marking Code: GN-A (ZK349) 2015

1/72 F-16A ADF/MLU Fighting Falcon (2 kits) Limited Edition
Stock Number: HSGS2172
Mfg. Number: 02172
Pieces: 75 / 86
Age: 14+

There's no doubt the F-16 has evolved over the years. The Air Defence Fighter (ADF) version upgraded the avionics and added a spotlight for night-time flights. The later Mid-Life Update (MLU) package allowed the use of radar-guided air-to-air missiles. This limited edition kit combo features parts for the vertical tail wing, plus two marking options.

Decal Options:
F-16A ADF: Italian AF, 5th Stormo, 23rd Gruppo, special marking, Code: MM7236, 2010

Mfg. Number: 02171
Pieces: 76 / 43
Age: 14+

Designed by the Soviet Union in the lead up to WWII, the Polikarpov I-153 was one of the world's last successful biplane fighters. It combined the tremendous manoeuvrability of all biplanes with high speeds and four machine guns. Its counterpart monoplane, the I-16, was an incredibly advanced design-the first cantilever monoplane with a retractable undercarriage. Both served with success and distinction in the East, but were horrendously overmatched by the Bf 109 in WWII. Limited edition kit combo features two sets of decals for each aircraft.

Decal Options:
I-153 –
USSR Naval AF 71 IAP Silver-102
USSR AF Red-16

I-16 Type 24

1/72 B-17G Flying Fortress D-Day Doll
Stock Number: HSGS2170
Mfg. Number: 02170
Pieces: 97
Age: 14+
Skill: 3

For its first recorded mission on June 7th, 1944, the day after D-Day, the crew of this 8th Air Force aircraft dubbed her D-Day Doll. Like most B-17s, this gal had a rather rough time of it. Most of the Luftwaffe had been destroyed or dispersed, but the remnant were some of the most experienced pilots ever to fly. Making matters worse, the Axis anti-aircraft batteries had lost none of their potency. Twice in a year D-Day Doll received damage sufficient for long grounding. Nevertheless, they won. Kit features two sets of decals.

Decal Options:
USAAF 8AF 447BG 710BS K-J: D-DAY DOLL April 1945
USAAF 8AF 447BG 710BS K-J: D-DAY DOLL After WWII
