Meng is here to pick up – and in a big way…

Meng has bundled together two of their pickups in 35th scale to create ISIS’ dream line-up of what looks a lot like but is NOT the LandCruiser & Toyota Hilux (in any other name) Let’s look at them both to see what they feature in our preview…

Meng’s two new Pickups from the same stable…

One Pickup Not Enough? Get Two! – say Meng, as they release two of their very popular 35th scale pickups in the one pack – these two “utes” that look a lot like Toyota’s Landcruiser and dual-cab Hilux will be on many people’s hit lists after they see columns of these vehicles used notably in the middle east theatres of late.

Though we are in a high-tech and information world, the most popular vehicles in the Middle Eastern and African battlefields are the various armed pickups. In recent years, pickups with different weapons have been seen fighting in different locations. Their military elements have inspired many modellers.

MENG has already released several armed pickup kits with different weapons. They are ideal to be built as single models or as a part of dioramas. We are glad to see that many modellers have created excellent pickup works. Now MENG releases a brand new VS-007 1/35 Pickup Set which contains a two-door pickup and a four-door pickup. We hope this kit can provide more possibilities for modellers to create more and better pickup models.

The MENG VS-007 1/35 Pickup Set includes two pickups which frequently show up in hot spots. They are interesting vehicle subjects in modern wars and conflicts.

Cabs of both pickups are perfectly represented.

There are excellent details on the chassis. Have you ever thought of making a diorama with overturned pickups?

Doors of the two-door pickup can be made open.

You can find out more about this release as more comes out from us here or the Meng Website…
