Bandai's new 12th scale First Order Stormtrooper Executioner was a surprise to us, but we can say that it follows the gradual evolution of the stormtrooper since the first movies through till now. Wait one second - who is this First Order Stormtrooper Executioner anyways?
The First Order Stormtrooper Executioner, also known as the First Order Judicial Stormtrooper or Executioner Trooper, was a variant of the stormtrooper utilized by the First Order around 34 ABY during its conflict with the Resistance. Part of a special branch of stormtroopers, Executioners were tasked with dispensing final justice on First Order soldiers found guilty of treason. They were clad in white and black armour and armed with electrified axes.
The First Order Stormtrooper Executioners were created for the 2017 film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson. The Executioner was first officially revealed in behind the scenes footage from The Last Jedi at the D23 Expo in July 2017.
