The Subject: Austin Armoured Car - 1918 Pattern
A small number of Austin model 1918s were imported by the Japanese Army, where they remained in service until the early 1930s.
 The IJA also imported Austin ACs from the UK some were used in Siberia during the military intervention in the Soviet Revolution. British Austins model 1918 were sold to Japan in 1919. At least one body was later seated upon a new 3-axle chassis.

This new armoured car from MiniArt features the Japanese additions from the earlier models, with five Japanese colour choices which is pretty amazing seeing how hard it is to get information about the cars in service!
