P-40E Warhawk ‘Tigers and Sharks’
1/72 Scale
Art. no. 100-SH72529
The American P-40 Warhawk fighter is one of the iconic types of World War II. The P-40E version was the first large-scale production version with the V-1710 F-series engine. In US Army colours, the fighter fought mostly on the Chinese, Indian, and Pacific battlefields. It was delivered to the Allies as the Kittyhawk Mk.IA. One of the very specific battlefields where this aircraft was deployed was the Aleutian Islands. There, American P-40Es and Canadian Kittyhawks had to contend not only with the Japanese enemy but also with the unpredictable weather and natural conditions of the Aleutian Islands. Therefore, the P-40s were modified on this battlefield. The American ones were fitted with sealed exhausts and covered machine gun barrels, and the Canadian ones were fitted with a special antenna system.
Model of an American WWII fighter, the P-40E Warhawk version. The kit includes two frames of grey plastic parts, one frame of clear parts, alternative 3D parts of exhausts and antennas, and decals. The decals offer four machines, two American with tiger heads and two Canadian with shark mouths:
- Detailed and very accurate kit, most likely the best P40 kit in 1/72
- Very easy build
- Wide range of camouflage options
- Accurate decals
- We offer the mask M72015, figures, and a large number of sets to spruce up the kit further

The box contains four frames of grey plastic parts, a frame of clear parts, cast parts, and etched parts. The decals offer three aircraft in metallic colours, with the Italian and Dutch aircraft bearing unit insignia on the SOP. The most colourful Norwegian aircraft not only has unit insignia but is also decorated with a toothy mouth and a caricature of the dog Laika.
