We have seen photos of the promotional materials for Border Model's new P-51D before now, but we had no idea that this first kit (we aren't sure if there will be, no doubt, an unpainted version) will come in the future.

We have some information on the kit, the options & the fact that it is pre-coloured: 
-Photo-eth parts are included.
-Two different types of drop tanks for that extra range.
-There are decals for four versions of the Mustang; one would assume they are from the same squadron to be able to use the pre-coloured plastic, so that means four versions of the same colour scheme.
- This kit goes together with not only glue but also screws, nuts and metal rods!

- 3D printed parts are included for several bits of plumbing/piping from the Mustang.
- The decals are included with one national marking of stars and bars, "Glamorous Glen III", "Creamer's Dream", "Ma Cherie" & another one we can't identify.
A typically laid-out large-scale Mustang kit, but with the pre-coloured parts there to see.
You can see by the slight overspray, these look more like pre-painted than pre-coloured parts.
The complete Merlin engine is included; here you can see the pre-painted version.
The instrument panel, including clear instruments (these may well be small clear parts; we aren't 100% sure yet), looks great.
