Four Star Miniatures has previewed THE figure that all modellers can relate to, set to be released at Scale Model Challenge this year. We found it - so you don't need to - in our preview...
Four Star Models have found it! at SMC this year...
Four Stars Miniatures has introduced a new 3D-printed resin kit titled "Something Lost" (working title), a kit number FSM3DF35032, under their Civilian Series. Produced in 1/35 scale, this multimedia vignette is scheduled for release at the Scale Model Challenge (SMC) 2026.
The kit depicts a scene common to the hobbyist: a scale modeller on the floor searching for a dropped piece – often in vain, unfortunately!
The set contains a multi-piece resin figure of a middle-aged man in a crawling pose alongside an assortment of workshop furniture and accessories. Included parts feature a wooden-style hobby desk, an ergonomic rolling office chair, a desk lamp, and a trash can filled with discarded sprue segments. The desktop surface is detailed with tools, paint jars, and a miniature 1/35 scale tank kit in mid-assembly.
Although the team can't decide what the name on this box will be (and some good names have been offered), the kit looks like it will contain:
The kit will include:
A multi-part scale modeller figure (sculpted in a crawling pose).
A rolling office chair and 1 wooden-style workbench/desk.
One flexible-neck desk lamp
1 trash can (full of sprues)
1 trash can (full of sprues)
