New box art to add to the test shot images of the Gripen from Kittyhawk

To add to the CAD shots of the Kittyhawk model SAAB JAS 39C Gripen in 1/48th scale. We have shots of the test shot model - it looks every bit of what we hoped it might - it sure has us hoping for big things!! Check out these images..
Newest test shots of the Gripen complete with Photo etched parts leave us pretty excited to see the finished result when it arrives - the detail looks to be improving with every release from KittyHawk
You can see the smaller stature of the Grippen from this comparison shot of the kit compared with KittyHawk's other release - the similarly sized F-35.
We will give you more information on this great new kit as soon as it lands…
Previous KittyHawk Gripen news...

The JAS 39C Gripen is the updated single seat version of the aircraft that has been made NATO-compatible for ease of co-operation with other allied countries in the agreement. This aircraft has extended capabilities in terms of armament, electronics, etc. This variant can also be refuelled in flight.

We have a newer foil to the MPM version from several years ago which was OK but not great - these CAD images here show a promising start. We think this is a good choice of kit to produce with many different variants, load outs and marking choices.
Weapons are just as important on this fighter and there will be a full complement of large droptanks, bombs and missiles. The cockpit, engines and landing gear are finely detailed here as well...

In service by not only Sweden, but by Switzerland, Thailand, Czech Air Force, the Hungarian Air Force and South Africa. There are several other countries that may be using this aircraft in the future so the chances for decals and colour choices look pretty good – we will see!
