Alpine Miniatures have releases two twin sets in 35th
scale this month. Just now available is this set featuring both an SS soldier
and the figure representing the controversial figure of Joachim
"Jochen" Peiper. Peiper - an SS commander during WWII was tried and
convicted for being in command of troops who participated in the “Malmédy
Massacre”. Well we will cut past these other considerations and show you the
figures painted up in today’s preview…

Construction Review: 51-Studio's 1/16th scale Resin figure of US Tanker 2nd Division 1945
Recently a pretty
highly anticipated movie called “Fury” hit the movie screens, and although the
reviews for the movie were “mixed” to say the least (I thought it stunk) there
were many good scenes and fairly accurate use of the right types of uniforms
and equipment. The good side for us is the sculpting of Jeremy Wong of
51-Studio of his figure of the hero of the movie who strangely is unnamed in
the artwork title. Jono puts him together in today’s review.

We compare and review the Zoukei-Mura Ta 152H-0 in 1/32nd scale.
Today we review the new Zoukei-Mura
kit of the Ta 152H-0 in 1/32nd scale. This is a partially new
kit with some additions and some promised finer re-tooling from the model
maker to their earlier Ta 152 H-0 release. It has been the subject of some chatter about the point of making such a close adjustment to an earlier model. How to review it? We decided to look at the original aircraft as well as
the original Ta 152 H-1 kit to see if the changes are accurate and worthy of a re-tooling.
