Sculpted by Hélder Agostinho and painted very nicely in this instance by Olivér Kovács, this figure in 35th scale is very impressive to us. He comes unpainted and in pats in grey resin, and here he is shown with a jeep in the background, but this is not of course included in the figure kit. This "Digger" or Aussie soldier from WWII is very much the archetypical WWII Australian soldier. Slouch hat, shorts and battledress really do give him the look of an Australian soldier during the Second World War.

These two figures may look familiar to some of you - last month we looked at one of these soldiers - the standing tanker in our preview - this month he is being sold with a comrade in arms in the same quality. Both of these figures in this set come with the helpful addition of an extra photo-etched fret with optional medals, unit badges and ranks to tailor these to either SS or German army, Panzertruppen or StuG crews - it is your choice...
These two Panzermen of the German armed brigade in World War Two can be easily identified from the black panzer wrap and the pink waffenfarbe piping around the jacket's collar patches and shoulder boards. His hat/ headgear comes in the choice of either the officer's visor or the M43 field cap - both great choices for tanks of the mid to late war period.
Photographs of both of the figures in the supplied light grey resin. you can see here the two headgear choices for both soldiers and the photo etch additions that really let you make your soldiers into whatever rank or experience you want to if you so desire to use them. A great idea.
