Amusing hobby presents us with a very interesting kit in the shape of the biggest bottle opener you have ever seen. Fashioned in co-operation with those other purveyors of "What-if" tanks Amusing Hobby, this kit in 35th scale of the VK4501(P) "Rammtiger" is an interesting beast to say the least!

VK 45.01 "RammTiger" in real life..,
The RammTiger was a  proposed conversion of the VK 45.01 (P) chassis in a heavily armoured ramming vehicle armed with machine guns.
The beast was meant to be heavily armoured (including the tracks) at the cost of speed. Porsche K.G. completed drawing SK 8258 of a VK 45.01(P) mit Rammhaube (with ram hood) by 7 December 1942. The glacis, side and rear plates were to be 30 mm thick and the roof plates 50 mm thick. Its overall length was to be about 8.25 meters, height 2.550 meters, and width 3.600 meters.
Only three superstructures were (said to be) completed but their fate is unknown. It is unlikely that they ever saw any combat and probably remained at Nibelungenwerke. Unfortunately, no photographic evidence survived the period and the project was cancelled in 1943.
The kit from Das Werk: The VK4501(P) "Rammtiger" kit number DW35018.
