Hawker Typhoon 1B Car Door
From Airscale
1/32nd scale
Injection-moulded sprues & 3D-printed resin.
Due for release soon.
Price: £265
Airscale has released something of a treat for Typhoon fans (the older type, of course) with the release of photos showing the first pre-production 1/32nd scale Typhoon test shot build.Price: £265
This is very much more advanced than earlier versions we have seen, printed in low resolution to check fit, etc. Combined with the injection-moulded main parts, this 32nd-scale kit looks amazing. Especially when you consider there was no filler, no primer, no sanding, just the glued-together main sprues and printed media put together.
A gallery below for you to see some of the detail...
The box art for the Typhoon kit by Antonis Karydis is now available. It features an atmospheric & evocative scene of an airfield in the early morning with a typhoon standing by, ready to depart.
By popular demand a limited number of A2 250GSM prints of this superb scene are available. The print is as seen here – in widescreen format on an A2 template so the borders are white. Available here at £25 + shipping at this link.See more about the typhoon kit and be ready for the official pre-launch sale at this link on the Airscale website...
