MODEL KIT COLLECTION PREVIEW 2026
We have the new catalogue preview from Italeri in our possession. We like some of these new models! Looking at these new models from Italeri, we see some surprising new tooled items in the smallest and largest of the usual modelling scales. All of the new items are marked out clearly, so you don't have to do some investigating to pick out the newest items.
Here is a brief overview of the most important new releases.
Following the success of the 1:32 scale range, which saw the recent launch of the Macchi Mc.200 Saetta, our product line dedicated to the Regia Aeronautica, is being expanded with two major new releases in 1:48 scale, featuring completely 100% new moulds: the long-awaited MC.202 “Folgore” fighter and the famous Savoia Marchetti S.79 "Sparviero" torpedo bomber.
As for modern aircraft, another important new release in 1:72nd scale will be the M-346 Master light combat aircraft.
In 2025, Italeri introduced the line dedicated to the famous aviation aces, the heroes of the skies of the Second World War. This range will be further expanded in 2026 with the Spitfire Mk IX in 1:48th scale and the Focke-Wulf FW 190 A in 1:72nd scale.
Italeri's focus on developing new kits that can capture the interest of the modelling community is also reflected in the military vehicles range, with the release, among others, of the Opel Blitz Typ A 4x4 and the MBT M1 Abrams in the TUSK configuration, both in 1:35th scale.
The 1:12 scale historic car line—a segment in which Italeri is considered a global benchmark—is further expanded with a major 100% new release that will join the Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 and the Bugatti Type 35B in any collection dedicated to the legendary cars of the 1930s: the Mercedes-Benz SSK.
For rally car enthusiasts, there is an exciting version of the Lancia Delta Integrale 16V: the legendary “Safari”, which triumphed in one of the most demanding off-road competitions in the world.
There is also a major new release in the world of two-wheel vehicles, featuring a true icon and symbol of “Made in Italy”: the Vespa PX in 1:9 scale.
For truck enthusiasts in 1:24 scale, they have the new Iveco S-Way Low Roof, and for the ever-growing number of fans of trucks from the 1980s and 1990s, the Iveco Turbostar 198.48 Reefer Truck.
We will see more of Italeri's full catalogue in the coming days.
