The Subject: The M76 "Otter"
With both tyres and tracks, the M76 "Otter" was an amphibious cargo carrier used by the United States Marine Corps (USMC). It was designed and built by Pontiac Motor Division in the late 1940s and intended as a replacement for the M29 Weasel. It entered service with the USMC in the early 1950s and many saw action in the Vietnam War.
Soldiers and marines used to pile on to these vehicles to avoid waling and more so, avoid the wet and muddy areas that they had to traverse. As a bonus, M76 Otters were less likely to run over a landmine than a truck, as they travelled across open country more often than they used Vietnam’s roads.

The test shot build:
Gecko model has provided new photos of the test shot of the figures, all sitting on the Otter they were designed for, all built up.
Even though you can use these or even convert them for your use, they do suit the Otter very well.
We will let you know when we know more.
