Eduard's new 1/32 scale P-51B Mustang Royal Hybrid (Kit #932011) is a highly anticipated, brand-new tooling premium scale model kit scheduled for release in August 2026. This kit serves as the flagship debut for Eduard's innovative "Royal Hybrid" series, which blends traditional injection-moulded plastic with cutting-edge multimedia parts.

This new kit is the first in a series that combines Eduard's "hybrid multimedia design", adding premium, completely new-tool injection-moulded plastic airframe components with an extensive array of highly detailed 3D-printed resin accessories. 
The 3D-printed components include a fully detailed 3D-printed cockpit, landing gear bays, weighted wheels, structural landing gear legs, hollowed machine gun barrels, and engine exhausts. 

Extra customisable details featuring two alternative 3D-printed pilot seats, two types of instrument panel coamings, and three distinct types of gunsights to match specific historical configurations. 

Two types of instrument panel coaming and three types of gunsights will be included in the kit.
There are also pre-assembled extras added, as this kit ships with pre-painted photo-etched metal detail parts and a die-cut kabuki paint mask set specifically tailored for the multi-piece canopy and wheels.

Two versions of 3D-printed seats will be included in the upcoming Royal Hybrid P-51B Mustang 1/32.
The kit features the famed Eduard approach to accurate surface detail that is designed with completely smooth, non-riveted wing surfaces to accurately depict the factory-filled and lacquered aerodynamic laminar-flow wings of real World War II Mustangs.

•    A 100-page publication dedicated to the operational service of the P-51B/C Mustang. It includes stories of aircraft and their pilots, colour schemes of more than 100 P-51B and C aircraft, a description of the development of the P-51B, and photographic documentation of pilot equipment.
•    OMASK masks/plugs – The kit will also include a masking set for the main landing gear bays, making your build a little easier.
The kit offers eight (8) marking options for aircraft that served with the USAAF's 8th and 9th Air Forces during World War II.
