About Linden Models
Founded in Riga, Latvia, Linden Models is a scale model production company established by a dedicated trio of model designers with over a decade of industry expertise. The enterprise specialises in creating highly detailed historical figures, plastic kits, and accessories from scratch. Driven by a passion to highlight historically overlooked narratives, the creators focused their initial product line on the diverse stories and volunteer factions of the Spanish Civil War.
The company's debut releases feature meticulously researched, 3D-printed figures and motorcycles from the Spanish Civil War era. While starting with a carefully managed, small-scale production setup, Linden Models plans to expand its catalogue into complex plastic kits for aircraft and armoured vehicles. By combining rigors historical research with high-quality design manufacturing, the brand aims to deliver premium, scratch-built collectibles that cover a diverse range of historical eras.


British Volunteer

This sculpture represents the type, not a portrait of one named individual: a British volunteer of the Saklatvala Battalion — the official but little-used name of the British Battalion, part of the mostly English-speaking XV International Brigade. He's shown mid-pause, helmet in hand rather than worn, which is itself true to how these citizen-soldiers are usually described: recently arrived civilians issued mismatched military kit, not a standing army.


German Motorcyclist, Legion Condor

This 1:35 scale 8K resin miniature depicts a single unpainted figure from the Legion Condor ground forces during the Spanish Civil War (1936–39), expertly sculpted and ready to prime. The soldier is historically outfitted for foul-weather reconnaissance in a detailed rubberised coat and a classic black beret, designed specifically to accompany a sidecar motorcycle. Included with the figure is a comprehensive historical breakdown, uniform reference, and colour guide explaining a common vexillological misconception: why the distinct "Condor Legion" beret badge is actually a specialised tank-troop symbol rather than an air force insignia. The name "Condor Legion" is best known today for its Luftwaffe squadrons, but this figure belongs to a much less famous part of the same organisation — its armoured and motorised ground troops.

This sculpture represents the type, not a portrait of one named individual: a mother caring for her small child among the nearly half a million people who fled Spain for France in the last weeks of the Civil War, in the exodus now known as La Retirada ("the withdrawal"). She is shown mid-pause on the road or at a waypoint, seated on a suitcase and feeding the child from a small bowl, with a bundled sack of belongings besides her – one of the ordinary, unheroic moments that made up a genuinely mass civilian displacement.

This figure depicts a miliciana – a volunteer woman of the Republican militias - on the Barcelona front in the opening months of the Spanish Civil War, 1936. She wears a working boiler suit (mono), the improvised but iconic uniform of the early militia columns, with a leather belt, ammunition pouches and a Spanish Mauser M1893/1916 rifle slung across her back.

This sculpture represents the type, not a portrait of one named individual: a young Falangist volunteer of the kind that filled the party's militia "banderas" (battalions) after July 1936, in the mono-and-rifle improvised dress typical of the war's first year. "Bandera de Castilla" on the box is used the way period banderitas were generally named - after the region that raised them (Old Castile) - rather than as the confirmed name of one specific, documented battalion; treat it as representative rather than a citation.
