Ardennes Miniature's new 35th-scale figures in September
Ardennes Miniature has expanded its premium 1/35th scale resin figure line with a series of new releases focused on German World War II soldiers. Sculpted by Radek Tomanec, these latest kits are divided into two distinct tactical subjects: frontline infantry officers leading active operations and armoured tank crewmen managing communication from inside their vehicles.

German Commander (Attack) WW2 No. 1 is caught mid-action during an advance, stepping forward to issue an urgent direction to his squad. He points decisively towards an objective down the road, keeping his pistol drawn and lowered as he moves.
He is outfitted in the standard German army field tunic, known to the soldiers as the Feldbluse, which features officer shoulder boards and collar tabs. For his load-bearing equipment, his leather utility belt supports a hard-shell pistol holster (Pistolentasche) on his left hip and a secure M35 map case (Kartentasche) on his right side to protect his tactical documents (and his butt probably).

German Commander (Attack) WW2 No. 2 stands in a moment of cautious tactical observation, leaning his weight forward as he evaluates the developing battlefield situation. He holds his right hand up near his chest to gesture to nearby troops to hold position, while his left hand rests near his side.
He wears a soft side-folding officer's field cap, colloquially called a Schiffchen by troops due to its unique "little boat" shape. His matching Feldbluse tunic is paired with standard leather field gear, ensuring his sidearm holster and slung Kartentasche map case remain fastened tightly to his waist while he scans the horizon.

German Commanders (Attack) WW2 Set brings these two field officers together to create an immediate tactical narrative. The scene shows a coordinated frontline effort: German Commander (Attack) WW2 No.1 drives the forward momentum by pointing out a target, while German Commander (Attack) WW2 No.2 stands right alongside him, providing close-proximity observation and coordinating their next move.
Both men are identically dressed in the classic officer Feldbluse with combat trousers and boots. They carry matching operational gear configurations, including leather utility belts, sidearm "pistolentasche" cases, and "kartentasche" map pouches, making them look perfectly integrated into the same unit.

German Tank Commander WW2 is framed from the waist up, designed to look out over the battlefield directly from his open vehicle hatch. He rests his hand casually on the cupola's rim while checking his surroundings, keeping a close eye on nearby movements.
He wears the specialised, black double-breasted wool wrap jacket universally known to crews as the Panzerjacke, which was short and streamlined to prevent snagging on internal machinery. Sculpted over his peaked cap are his heavy Panzerkopfhörer radio headphones.

German Tank Crewman WW2 is also depicted from the torso up, busy at work inside an adjacent open vehicle hatch. His body turns as he raises an arm to brace against the upper hull or turret rim, communicating an update or coordinating a task within the vehicle.
He is dressed in the matching asymmetrical black Panzerjacke uniform designed for armoured troops. Secured snugly around his neck is a throat microphone, called a Kehlkopfmikrofon, which picked up vocal vibrations directly from the skin to filter out the deafening roar of the tank engine.

The German Tank Crew WW2 Set combines these two partial-body sculptures into a unified vehicle crew layout. Placed side-by-side in their respective open hatches, German Tank Commander WW2 monitors the perimeter from a high vantage point while German Tank Crewman WW2 actively supports him from below, gripping the turret rim.
Both crew members wear matching double-breasted black Panzerjacke wrap uniforms with historical insignia. They are fully wired with their Panzerkopfhörer headsets and Kehlkopfmikrofon throat mics, providing a realistic depiction of an armed crew managing real-time internal comms.
