RocKit Studio has announced two new aftermarket detail sets designed specifically for Tamiya’s recent 1/35 scale M24 Chaffee (kit 35391). These releases focus on replacing standard injection-moulded plastic components with high-fidelity 3D-printed and metal parts to improve realism. 

The two kits show the differences/additions to the premium kit.

A composite preview image highlights the 350101 and 350101S detail upgrade packages designed for the Tamiya 1/35 M24 Chaffee light tank.

The new offerings are divided into the 350101 Standard Set and the 350101S Premium Set, which share a core selection of 3D-printed details but target different levels of refinement. Both packages contain matching structural replacements for the tank's exterior, including ultra-thin headlight guards, a multi-part bow machine gun mount, pre-drilled antenna bases, and fine grab handles.

What sets the Premium Set apart is the inclusion of the complete Pioneer Tool Set with openwork racks and the Ultimate Detail M2 Upgrade Set. This deluxe addition provides a highly detailed. 50-calibre heavy machine gun featuring an intricate multi-part receiver, a turned metal barrel, and a dedicated metal carrying handle accompanied by its own bending jig.

A look at the kit' features:

The grey 3D-printed pioneer tool set is attached directly to the olive drab hull of the model.

The lower front hull displays the thin headlight guards and the replacement barrel on the ball-mounted bow machine gun.

A high-angle view looking down at the right side of the tank captures the integration of the grey resin storage box, replacement handles, and tools on the plastic turret and hull.

The right-profile view shows the fully assembled test model outfitted with the comprehensive upgrade package.

A complete right-rear profile view shows the finished model, showcasing the clean fitment of the specialised parts on the engine deck and turret rear.
