The box contains four figures.
MiniArt's latest set of British or Commonwealth tankers are in the middle of load up, load up, load up, with pla-iyastic bullets for your next diorama. We look at some of the reference photos and the new sculptures here in our preview...

The inspiration for these figures:
British tank crews belonging to the 46th Royal Tank Regiment are filmed passing 75mm high-explosive artillery ammunition through the small turret pistol port of an M4 Sherman III tank. This specialised loading method allows the crew to quickly replenish their supply while keeping the tank's main hatches closed, protecting the interior while operating from a static, heavily camouflaged indirect fire support position during the static campaign at Anzio, Italy.
A British-armoured crew stacks a massive stockpile of heavy 17-pounder anti-tank rounds on the cobblestone street before feeding them into the turret of a Sherman Firefly. Because these highly potent long-range rounds took up considerable space inside the hull, the forward bow machine gun and its gunner's seat had to be completely eliminated from the chassis design to make room for the expanded ammunition storage bins required for frontline combat.
Members of the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment, 11th Armoured Division, work together to hand up compact 77mm high-velocity ammunition into the turret basket of an A34 Comet cruiser tank deep in North-west Europe. The specialised ammunition being loaded featured shorter cartridge cases specifically engineered to ease the physical burden on the loader inside the compact turret, providing a much higher rate of fire during the final Allied push into Germany.

MiniArt's new number 1/35th scale British Ammo Loading Tank Crew from MiniArt
This set of four figures can be seen loading any British or Commonwealth vehicle of WWII or slightly after that period. Each figure on a separate small sprue:

They come on four sprues in the box. One figure to each sprue.
The plastic figures need to be discussed here, with Sergiy Alekhno again the sculptor. LOOK AT THE FACES – MiniArt are really kicking goals here and actively improving their figures. There are not special editions or resin, just plastic faces injection moulded...
There are also two other sprues, one containing ammunition - AT & HE rounds...
The second sprue, with boxes to store the ammo.
Decals for the ammo, the boxes and for the tanker's uniforms are included - this one for the "Desert Rats", but I cannot see any badges for the berets...
A great painting guide gives us a good idea of what the tankers will look like when complete and painted.

This kit will be released next month. You can see more about this kit on the MiniArt website...
