The Volkswagen Beetle is a real milestone in the Automotive History. The first model went into production before the Second World War and it was characterised immediately for an impressive reliability, a unique design, and a strong personality. The real commercial success, however, started after the end of the war. In fact, the VW Beetle became one of the symbols of German industrial growth during the '50s and' the 60s.
During the years several improvements and innovations have been adopted but never changed drastically the good original project and the unique design. On 1972 the “1303 model”, characterised by more modern aesthetic solution as the curved windscreen and a new shape of the rear lights, has been launched on the market.
The 1,300 cm³ engine has been flanked by the more powerful 1,600 cm³ engine. Up today the VW Beetle is still holding the record of the long-lasting car in the history.

The multi-role Tornado is a twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-sweep wing. This kind of aircraft is the result of a joint development project carried out by British, German and Italian companies. Although during its lifetime it has been used for several purposes (ground attack, electronic combat/reconnaissance, interceptor), its main role has always been to perform low-altitude penetrating strike missions.

Tornado can load and use a powerful and varied set of offensive weapons. The Tornado baptism of fire took place in 1991 during the Gulf War. The British Royal Air Force Tornado Gr. 1s, deployed on Bahrain and Saudi Arabia air bases, were crucial during “Operation Granby”.

The twin-engine high swept wing Douglas RB-66 Destroyer entered into service in the mid- 50's to equip the USAF photo-reconnaissance squadrons. Derived, as the Douglas B-66 bomber version, from the A-3 Skywarrior, it had adopted a lot of changes compared to the US Navy aircraft. Thanks to the two J71 turbojet engines, the Destroyer was able to reach a max speed of 940 Km/h and guarantee an operative range of 1,800 miles.
The equipment for the reconnaissance were installed in the loading bombs bay. A lot of RB-66s had been used by the USAF Squadrons located in Great Britain, Germany and Japan during the escalation of the Cold Wars proving their effectiveness in the intelligence and recon duties.

In 1938, based on a specific request of the German army, BMW and Zundapp received the brief to start a co-joint development project that was able to guarantee the highest number of common components to optimize the maintenance activities and the spare parts logistic. The prototypes had been released on 1940 and the production started at the beginning of 1941. Its peculiar feature was to have the sidecar wheel that was driven with an axle connected to the rear wheel of the motorcycle. These were fitted with a locking differential and selectable gear ratios to optimize the on-road / off-road performance.
The twin-cylinder engine with a displacement of 750 cc was capable of delivering 26 HP. The BMW R75 was able to reach the max speed of 95 Km/h. It was widely used, proving its reliability and sturdiness, on all most important operating theatres and in all environmental conditions (from North Africa to Russia).
