Tank riders from the Imperial Japanese Army in 35th scale from Paracel Miniatures this month...

The onslaught of the Japanese army and the use of mechanized infantry and tank riders to spread the invading armies is the subject of Paracel Miniature's latest set. Four IJA soldiers and the tank commander are all offered in a big set, or two smaller sets if you just like the soldiers. We look at them in our preview...

Tank riders from the Imperial Japanese Army in 35th scale from Paracel Miniatures this month...

Paracel Miniatures from Vietnam continue to give us new 1/35th scale figures from conflicts in the Asia Pacific theatre. This time World War Two and the early days of the lighting advances through the Philippines, Malaysia and Burma. Captured here by the sculptors are four Japanese Army soldiers and a tank commander also of the IJA.
Several photos of Japanese infantrymen using tanks as transport on these fast advances through the jungles and small troads connecting the major settlements, towns and cities. The combination of infantry and light tanks served the Japanese well until a line of cohesive resistance started to check their advance of the Japanese.
These sets from Paracel Miniatures:
The figures are sculpted by Jang Leo and cast in resin. In this case, they were painted by Mai Chi Thuan who did the box art examples for this set...
You can see from above the layout of these four infantrymen and the tank commander.
We will look at the two pairs of infantrymen now and then the big set that captures all of the figures in one package.
