The Subject: Panzer repair on the front lines...
Panzer repair workshops near the front line were just as common to every unit that fought during WWII. There are plenty of images of men working a sweat up fixing tanks with various issues and damage during WWII.

StuG III has its gun removed with a crane while undergoing maintenance, Soviet Union, 1943
All types of vehicles were repaired as needed as close to the front as was safe. Ersatz workshops on any ground that could be used were made into makeshift Panzer workshops. The gantry crane, the workbenches and equipment needed to help fix, move and repair these vehicles of many types, not just tanks, but AFV and soft skin vehicles also.

A front line Panzer repair shop. where this Panzer III Ausf. G (als Tauchpanzer) has its turret removed with the help of a gantry crane.
The closer to the front the more varied the tools and equipment. the smaller gantry crane was invaluable in lifting heavy items from the vehicles.

The kit from MiniArt:
A popular subject - the repairing of battle-worn vehicles close to the front line during WWII. We often have to gather the parts to these ourselves, but Miniart has its own solution. They have followed their edict of creating full scenes for modellers by making several of their kits into one "Big Box" in the form of this, "Repairing Of Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. H. Big Set" in 35th scale.
