We have new information on pricing, profile colours and selected aircraft, as well as a first edition, limited time bonus print that comes along with the initial batch in our preview...

Kotare's new 1/32 Spitfire Mk.Ia (Mid) is now available to pre-order from their website, with shipping hopefully in late November-December 2022 subject to worldwide trade difficulties. A Pre-order deposit payment in full with 100% refund is available on request up to the actual shipping date. The kit's price will be  US$109 plus p&p.

Marking A: Spitfire Mk.Ia N3180 KL-B “Kiwi”, AC Deere, 54 Squadron, May 1940.
The first scheme that we noticed for this kit will be (fittingly) that of the Spitfire Mk1a flown by legendary Kiwi ace Al Deere,

Marking B: Spitfire Mk.Ia N3277 AZ-H “Dirty Dick”, R Hardy, 234 Squadron, August 1940.
Spitfire Mk.Ia RAF 234Sqn AZ-H was flown by Richard Hardy N3277. the aircraft was captured by the Germans when it forced landed Cherbourg France Aug 15 1940. It was soon put into German markings in other, latter                                                                                                                                                                                      colour pictures of the kite.


Marking C: Spitfire Mk.Ia P9495 DW-K, SJ Arnfield, DF Corfe, J Ellis & P Litchfield, 610 Squadron, June & July 1940.
P9495 Mk1a – Arrived at 610 Squadron early June 1940. Flown as DW-K throughout June and July. Damaged in fight with 109 on 12/8/40 and later written off.
