Preview: Three new items to enhance your Corsair in 48th from Magic Factory

We had seen snippets of these, but now we can show you the official release images of Magic Factory's three new kits , designed to enhance and improve (or just make building it simpler) their new Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2 kit in 48th scale that Gary reviewed here just last week.
Designed in com with the "Master Precision" team of 3-D designers, these three sets can be used together or separately in the one diorama, maybe for a large workshop space.

Both 3-D printed engine sets on display here...
Although there is no release or price details yet, we can look at the three kits now...

P&W R2800 - Separate display version (for the Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2)
From Magic Factory
Kit No #7505
1/48th scale
3D printed resin kit
This 1/48th scale 3-D printed resin Pratt & Witney R2800 "Separate display version" engine (for their Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2 kit) could, w e suppose, be used with any kit that required an R2800 to be sitting within their diorama space. Seeing that it is not attached to any aircraft. You can see from this trimmed version below, that it includes the ignition harness, something that can save the modeller a lot of effort and time. All you need to do is remove the engine from the small resin attachment points in the print.

P&W R2800 - "Maintenance version" (for the Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2)
From Magic Factory
Kit No #7506
1/48th scale
3D printed resin kit
This second set is the 1/48th scale P&W R2800 in "Maintenance version" format. Another 3-D print in grey resin that comes in a simple almost shell-like base that needs the fine connecting points. You can see just how fine the ignition harnesses are, and the small connection points, that make this detailed kit not so difficult a proposition for the modeller to tackle.
These will need to be removed and sanded flush before inserting straight into Magic Factory's Vought Corsair F4U-1A/2 kit. This really is an all-in-one solution that looks to save the modeller time and effort whilst giving top-class detail.

F4U Ground service (5 figure set)
From Magic Factory
Kit No #7507
1/48th scale
3D printed resin kit
This set of five resin figures in 1/48th scale are designed to work with the F4U kit in the same scale. Again they are 3-D printed, and a quick removal from their base leaves you with these men working on the Corsair (or pretty much any aircraft in this scale you can fit them on). These are a detailed, but simple set that will add that human touch to your scene.
We do not yet have any pricing or product links for these sets yet, but they will be available from Hobbylink Japan  as soon as the information is sent to the distributors.
