Refugees, Chandlers Family
From MiniArt Models
1/35th scale
Kit No #38089
Two figures & their meagre possessions are included
Refugees fleeing the fighting during World War Two were a constant sight. On the roads, to rail and motor transport, some walking with whatever they had on them. All classes and occupations were not immunes, and some of Europe's finest craftspeople, entertainers, workers and academics fled in the face of adversity, bombs and some from genocide.
Not only before, during but also after WWII people from Europe were on the move with whatever they could take with them.
MiniArt has two new figures in 1/35th scale. these two are seen on their way (hopefully) to a better place with their most expensive possessions. their beloved instruments. This kit could be used as a sad ending to the story, poor even a sad start before they escape and play again in safety. It is your choice (but a powerful idea for a diorama).
The kit:
In the kit, there are three figures, each on their own sprue are the basis of this kit. The faces and the clothing wrinkles are looking like they are improving all the time on MiniArt's kits...

Two small sprues of the figures - one man and a woman, is included...
Suitcases and small bags are here in this sprue...
Two sacks, one with potatoes and another we do not know what is inside...
An old wheelbarrow is included for the man to push.
The possessions of the two are in here on this sprue. A lampshade, record player, candles, radio/ wireless set

You can see more about this kit on the MiniArt Website...
