Survivors on a long walk from Masterbox in September

"Hot Summer 1941. German  Infantry, WW II era”
From Masterbox
Kit No. #35249
1/35th scale
Interest in World War II remains strong, and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine lends particular resonance to this kit. Much of the large-scale fighting during the summer of 1941 occurred on Ukrainian territory, which at the time was part of the Soviet Union. This historical backdrop adds depth and relevance to the scene depicted.
The narrative is straightforward yet evocative: a weary group of German soldiers, burdened with weapons and supplies, trudges forward under the relentless heat of the Ukrainian sun. Their officer, embodying unwavering resolve, attempts to rally their spirits. It is precisely this simplicity that makes the kit remarkably versatile. It can serve as a standalone vignette with powerful visual impact or be incorporated into a larger diorama—perhaps featuring damaged enemy vehicles or paired with other kits such as MB 3510, 3541, 35112, 35137, 35151, or compatible sets from other manufacturers.
The kit includes two plastic sprues: one containing the figures and another with weapons and equipment. Each figure is sculpted with exceptional artistic detail, elevating them to the level of miniature sculpture. Whether used individually or as part of a broader composition, these figures offer a compelling and historically grounded modelling experience.

“Desert Battle Series. Long-distance raid. Child of Hope”
From Masterbox
Kit No. # 35250
1/35th scale
Kit 35250, titled “Desert Battle Series: Long-Distance Raid—Child of Hope,” continues MasterBox's new line of 1/35 scale post-apocalyptic model kits, inspired by the genre’s widespread popularity in cinema and video games. This installment is part of the broader narrative series “The Last Bridge: Child of Hope,” which unfolds in a world devastated by war and natural disasters. In the aftermath of global collapse, scattered survivors formed factions—some as predatory gangs, others as hopeful communities striving to rebuild a future. Yet, the birth of children became rare, and those born carried signs of impending extinction. Then, inexplicably, a child appeared—healthy, sociable, and entirely unaware of his origins. He became a symbol of hope, prompting a mission to escort him to the mythical Last Bridge, said to lead to an island preserving the remnants of civilisation and science.

A large group set out, but only four reached the bridge: the Child; Hector, a rebellious survivor hardened by labour; Stefani, a fearless fighter; and Rob, a former elite combat robot who had integrated into human society.
The kit includes two plastic sprues for assembling a cart, three finely detailed figures, and one sprue with photo-etched parts. Assembly instructions are provided inside the box. Each figure is sculpted with exceptional artistic detail, elevating them to the level of miniature sculpture. This kit can be used independently to create a striking vignette or combined with other figures from the series to build a more expansive diorama.
