M8 Greyhound / M20 Armored Utility Car
From Italeri
No # 7087
1/72nd scale
Model Length: 6.5 cm
At the beginning of World War II, the U.S. Army had lightweight and lightly armed vehicles, called "scout cars", for advanced reconnaissance activities. Developed during the war, the M-8 Greyhound armoured car, characterised by increased protection and heavier armament, represented a turning point for the American army. The vehicle provided greater operational flexibility and could be more effectively used to support ground troops thanks to the 37mm cannon installed in the turret.

First used on the Italian front, from Monte Cassino to Anzio, it later participated in the D-Day operations in June 1944. Although the terrain in Normandy proved difficult and challenging during the initial stages of the operation, the M-8 was highly appreciated for its speed and versatility. It was utilised not only by the U.S. Army but also by numerous Allied countries.

AB-205 / UH-1D "SAR"
From Italeri
No # 2845
1/48th scale
Model Length: 27 cm
The Agusta-Bell AB-205 is a multirole helicopter produced under licence in Italy by Agusta, derived from the famous Bell UH-1 Iroquois, better known as the "Huey". It entered service in the 1960s and, thanks to its structural simplicity and design reliability, demonstrated extraordinary versatility and longevity. With a flight range of over 500 km and a maximum speed exceeding 200 km/h, the AB-205 was developed to meet the need for rapidly transporting troops to areas that were difficult to reach.

However, thanks to its flexibility, it can be configured in numerous military and civilian versions: from cargo transport to civil protection, from medical evacuation to search-and-rescue missions. A particularly important role was played by the helicopter in the aviation units of the Arma dei Carabinieri.

RF-4 C/E Phantom II
From Italeri
No # 1477
1/72nd scale
Model Length: 26.7 cm
New parts are added for the SAR versions of this bird.
Derived from the famous twin-engine fighter McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II, the RF-4C is a tactical reconnaissance aircraft specifically designed to carry out observation and intelligence-gathering missions, even under difficult and complex flight conditions over enemy territory. Compared to the fighter versions, it was easily identifiable by the configuration of the forward fuselage section, where modern (for the time) photographic and terrain-scanning systems were installed.

The 6 colour profiles provided with this kit
Used extensively during the Vietnam War, the aircraft was continuously upgraded in its avionics and photographic and data-gathering systems, remaining operational in the United States Air Force and other allied countries until the late 1990s. Its flight performance was notable, with a maximum speed exceeding Mach 2.

JAGDPANZER 38(t) "HETZER"
From Italeri
No #96531
1/35th scale
Model Length: 18.2 cm
Designed on the basis of the reliable and proven mechanics of the Czechoslovak-origin Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) tank, it began to be produced in the second half of 1943 to provide the German army with a light tank destroyer characterised by a low profile, good frontal armour, and effective firepower ensured by the use of a 7.5 cm gun mounted in a closed casemate.

Other important factors that dictated its development were limited production costs and the speed and ease with which the tank destroyers could be mass-produced. The Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer entered service in the second half of 1944 and proved extremely effective and deadly, above all because of its low silhouette, which made it difficult to detect when well camouflaged, even against the most powerful Allied vehicles.
Kit Features:
Link & length tracks! (no rubber bands here, people.)

Italeri continues in their tradition of immortalising great Italian cars in plastic. This, their latest kit, is presented to us in CAD for today; it represents the Lancia Delta HF in its iconic “Safari” configuration from the 1991 season in 1/12th scale.
The 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V "Safari" rally car.
The 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V was a legendary rally machine. Driven by Juha Kankkunen and co-driven by Juha Piironen for the Martini Lancia team, the car secured a famous victory at the 1991 Safari Rally in Kenya. This specific iteration cemented the hatchback's reputation as a dominant force in the Group A era of the World Rally Championship (WRC).
We look in these photos of three Safari Rally 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale 16V's – this one was of the unfortunate end of M. Biasion & T. Siviero's car, which is one of the three in this kit you can choose from.
Equipped with a powerful 2.0-litre double-overhead-cam, 16-valve turbocharged and intercooled engine, the rally car required robust modifications to survive the harsh and notoriously gruelling Kenyan terrain. To handle the demanding endurance event, the car featured significantly reinforced suspensions, extended wheel arches for larger tyres, higher ground clearance, and an external front bull bar. It also incorporated heavy-duty modifications like a reinforced body and a roof-mounted air intake snorkel.

The success of the 1991 Safari Rally car helped Lancia claim the 1991 WRC Manufacturers' title. This victory is considered a high point in the 16V's competition lifecycle, taking place just before Lancia transitioned to the heavily updated Evoluzione (or "Deltona") models the following season.
