TMN on Tour: 2022 US IPMS Nationals - Omaha Nebraska.

This year the 2022 US IPMS Nationals were held in Omaha, Nebraska. 1st place in armour category winner Sam Dwyer took a great set of photos of the models on show during the event. We thought you would like to see them on our show tour gallery...

TMN on Tour: 2022 US IPMS Nationals - Omaha Nebraska

Today we have a large group of photos taken by Sam Dwyer at the 2022 IPMS Nationals - Omaha Nebraska, held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Centre from the 20th - 23rd of July 2022 in Omaha Nebraska USA.
There were two huge vendor halls which were packed with all types of suppliers, models and wonderment to be purchased (as expenses of course).
In the modelling hall, there were 2800 or so models across all categories, some broken up into smaller categories because of the sheer number of entries. Word on the street was that the event was well organised, and that people could easily enter, get accommodation (helloooo Telford in the UK).
A big thank you to Sam Dwyer, who won 1st place with his entry of Meng's 35th scale King Tiger. Built as Tiger 134 of s.Pz.Abt.503. This tank was destroyed by its crew in the closing days of WWII in what is now the Czech Republic. As was common with King Tigers of this unit, extra track links were added to the turret sides and hull sides as additional armour protection. This tank also was missing zimmerit on its turret, either removed by its crew or the tank underwent a turret swap at some point.
The three highest placed winners in armour category. John Bonanni (on the left) and John Anderson and Sam on the right.
