HMS Hood turret B, A KAMAZ Typhoon & an M29 Weasel all on the way from Takom...

HMS Hood Mk.I 15" /42 Gun Turret
From Takom
Kit No: 5020
1/72nd scale
32cm in length
Photo etch included
These 1/72nd scale turrets from Takom have been a bit of a revelation and a crossover market for Takom. The rivets and slabbed sides are big enough to transfer your armour or even U-Boat builder's skills over to, while the scale and size of these (32.9cm in length of this one) give enough scope to go to town. If it is anything like the Yamato turret we built here on TMN, this will be great.

Designed with the help of Snowman  - who most of you know through ship models, this allows the modeller to have not only the top German, Japanese, and now British guns to be brought to bear on your workbench.

KAMAZ Typhoon-K w/RP-377VM1 & Arbalet-DM RCWS Module
From Takom
Kit No: 5020
1/35th scale
Photo-etch included
The up-gunned version of their earlier Russian MRAP KAMAZ-63968 Typhoon K kit. This model also come sin 1/35th scale, and is a two- in one kit. Meaning that you can make either the RP-377VM1 RP-377VM1 Radio Fuze Jammer or the Arbalet-DM RCWS Module designed for engagement of manpower and weapons of the enemy, as well as vehicles and aerial targets on your kit - your choice.

M29 Weasel
From Takom
Kit No: 2167
1/35th scale
Crewman/ driver included
Photo-etch included
Only previously available in this scale through the excellent LZ kit. The time for injection moulded plastic Weasel M29 has come. This kit is supplied with a driver, 3D sculpted by Jason studio. It is great to have an open-topped vehicle with at least a driver option for no extra cost!

That is all we have on these three for now - keep tuned for more info on the kits themselves. You can see more about Takom's kits on their website or on their Facebook page
