New from Jeff Shiu miniatures is his latest figure in 120mm – the two figures in 1/16th scale of Waffen SS on the eastern front in 1941-  about to be swarmed by enemy infantry these men are in a fight for their lives. Build Review: Jono goes small with Flyhawk's 1/72nd scale Ft-17 Tank w/cast Turret

Recently we had the chance to look at Flyhawk’s latest 1/72nd scale tank kit – the riveted turreted Ft-17 tank of WWI vintage – this package was two tanks in one box and we thought they were great. Well FlyHawk have sent their brother kit to this, the Cast turret tank in a similar set up. We gave the kit to Jono to build to get a second opinion and to compare it to an Airfix WWI tank kit.  Let’s have a look to see what he thought…

Build Review: Takom’s 35th scale WWI Heavy Tank w/Rear Mortar Mark.IV “Tadpole”

We visit “First World War in the Air.” RAF Hendon’s new Exhibit

We had the pleasure to be one of the first into the brand new exhibition at the RAF Museum at Hendon recently that re-worked and invigorated their world War One flying machine exhibition. “First World War in the Air” opened on the 4th of December 2014 and was funded partly by BAE Systems and the National Lottery grant we thought you should get a look at the brand new exhibition with a little on each of the more interesting points we saw. “Wing-nuts” will love this collection!
